"This obokano is made during the early years of the organolgy class of the music deparmtent of the Kenyatta Unviersity, when there was not yet the financial means to buy the material. It is a miniature, experimental version of the obokano, with eight strings (standard for the obokano). The obokano keeps the rhythm going."
