Description
This incomplete set of lowland bagpipes consists of five pieces: the round shaped and dark coloured leather and wood bellow with ivory insets, the chanter, and parts of three wooden drones with ivory nozzles and brass rings. Small bagpipes like this example differ from other types of bagpipes as in these lattest the air is supplied in the bag by blowing, while in the small bagpipes the air is given by the bellows.
