Description
Side-blown flute made with black-painted bamboo (possibly lacquered). Distributed along the tube are an embouchure-hole, a membrane hole (mirliton membrane missing), six finger-holes, and four vent holes on the distal end (two of these possibly for hanging a decorative string or tassel). Ivory caps on both ends. This instrument is part of the Albert C. Spencer collection.
