This is a Thai (So Duang) or Chinese (Erhu) two-string fiddle, featuring a hollow, waisted cylindrical tube resonator with a glued reptile skin (possibly snake or lizard) soundtable, and a dark-brown, hardwood short thin neck with a curved finial. The tuning pegs, strings and bridge are missing.
