Description
"The sound box of this fiddle is made of a pvc tube. It used to be made of a carved out piece of wood. The iron string is tuned by tightening the peg. A rubber ring serves to hold the thumb in a stable position. The bridge is a small loose piece of bamboo. The orutu provides melodic accompaniment to dances. The fiddle is played by the soloist who sings and plays at the same time."
