Description
End-blown, open flute made of bamboo, with a single notch at the proximal end partially covered by a narrow bamboo ring tied with cotton thread. This distinctive ring-and-notch design constitute the external duct. There are six fingerholes. This instrument is one of the main instruments in the kacapi-suling ensemble.
